The organising committee is pleased to announce that the XI edition of Fuerzas y Túnel will be held in the town of Jaca from the 27th to the 29th of June. Jaca is a charming site at the base of the Pyrinees, conveniently connected to the cities of Huesca, Zaragoza and Pamplona by train and bus. This biennial conference series has acquired enormous recognition in the Scanning Probe Methods and Surface Science communities in Spain, gathering researchers from interdisciplinary fields such as Condensed Matter, Theory and Simulation, Biology or Physical Chemistry.
Abstract submission and registration will be open at the beginning of 2018. We are specially committed to the participation of young researchers and early stage postdocs by offering low registration fees and an adapted programme to stimulate the furtherance of their careers and train their communication skills, but we do not forget the relevance of clustering as many group leaders as possible in this reduced volume to trigger stronger interactions. We look forward to welcoming all of you.
